Amazing experience on a beautiful day! The Captain was very knowledgeable and encouraged feedback from the guests. We saw several alligators, great blue herons, little blue herons, ibis', limpkins and several other birds. But the highlight of the trip was the two owls up close and personal. I highly recommend this tour!

Very much enjoyed our tour! The guide shared a lot of information but also listened to other people in the group share their stories. He truly seemed to enjoy what he does. Saw alligators, birds, flowers, owls and heard a lot of interesting stories. no Manatees but that was only because of the time of year we went!

Captain Patty was literally amazing! We went out at the 1 pm tour today and she was not only comical and entertaining but had a lot of knowledge! She talked about every animal we seen and told us facts about them as well as the plants! I highly reccomend this trip to anyone and everyone!

Loved every part of this tour! The guides knew exactly where animals were going to be and pointed them out to us. Including some baby Green Herons! We also saw over a dozen gators! (More than we saw during an airboat in the Everglades even!! )
Very informative and shared quite a bit of knowledge about the area's history. The guide we had told us she had been working there for over 17years! It was apparent she loved her job.
My husband and I were one of two couples during the tour we were on, which allowed for easy walking about the boat to go back and forth to the different sides to look at animals and views!
Will be doing this again, for sure! And be sure to ask for military/veteran discount if you can!
Don't forget your binoculars and camera!

Great trip! Highly recommend to all who are inspired and interested in St Johns and central Florida flora and fauna. During our trip, we observed (and lingered to watch the behavior of) all the animal and plant life that other reviewers have posted. The captain is very customer attentive and readily shares his breath of knowledge of the river and area plants, animals, and history. This was an outing that we will remember and repeat in the future.

We took this little eco tour boat ride on the St John’s River - it was an amazing experience! ? Two hours of cruising the river, listening to Captain Colin’s narration, and enjoying the beautiful scenery & wildlife. We saw barred owls?, gators?, frisky manatees, and lots of birds (including a bald eagle!)?. Captain Colin was entertaining & knowledgeable (even tho he’s a transplant?) I was impressed with his knowledge and even learned a few things from him! It was a fantastic way to spend my birthday - thanks Captain Colin! Well done!

A few other notes: Comfortable, clean, pontoon boat. Didn’t need bug spray or sunscreen. Clean bathroom at the marina.

My family had such a nice trip on the river on Sunday. I had been begging to go out on a boat and this really scratched the itch! Florida nature is one of my favorite things and I was so excited I think I must have annoyed poor Captain Patty with my enthusiasm and questions!

I love that the boat is covered and you can enjoy the shade and the breeze off the river for a lovely trip year round. We enjoyed the morning cruise and caught sight of so many birds, their nests, and were blessed to see the fledgling of local barred owls.

I have been recommending this to all of my friends since disembarking! I can’t wait to get back out on the water again soon!

Had a fantastic trip with Captain Colin last week. Chilled relaxing and informative. Saw a large amount of wild life. Colin patiently explained things to our six year old. Cannot recommend enough.
